The Home Equity Release Mortgage is a special kind of loan developed especially for homeowners aged 60 and over. Although it is secured on your property, there are no payments to make and it lets you stay in the comfort of your own home for as long as you wish. Allowing you to enjoy some of the financial investments you have made in your house with absolutely no worries of having to give it up - guaranteed.

You must either own your home outright or use part or all of the loan to pay off any outstanding mortgage. There are no minimum income requirements and you can take out the mortgage either as an individual or with one joint borrower. If you are living with your spouse or partner then the loan must be applied for jointly. Both must be over 60 years and named as the legal owners of the property.

All the companies used are members of SHIP (Safe Home Income Plans). This means they adhere to the guidelines set to companies providing you with additional income or capital from your property.
